Unbelievable! That is totally not what the Enterprise D sounded like at warp 4! These jerks deserve to be shot out of a cannon for disrespecting the Canon. My fellow True Fans, boycott this atrocity! BOYCOTT!A new clip has been posted. They're all doing warp engine sounds …

At the request of this thirsty European, please spoil every ship/spacecraft-related detail ye get yer Romulan whiskey-stained hands on!
So far we've seen in trailers:
California-class USS Cerritos.
Cerritos standard shuttle.
Three or or four types of small craft on Lil'Qo'noS, including a version of the SanFran Air Tram?
Argo jeep (MSD).
Spacedock-class Douglas Station.
Alien craft on a promotional poster.
Starfleet ship with triangular hull with nacelle pylons sticking from primary hull (seen flying hull up and upside down).
Starfleet ship with triangular hull with nacelle pylons held at an angle.
That's a well written review. And I can see myself being in agreement with most of it. Turning the fannish callback dial too far up will grow old fast. A couple of easter eggs here or there are one thing, but the characters constantly throwing random Trek trivia at us might be a turn-off in the long run. Will be interesting to see if they are striking a sensible balance.Ars Technica has a review up. It's pretty positive overall.

(https://www.animationmagazine.net/s...ond-live-action-in-mike-mcmahans-lower-decks/)For example, we all know what Klingons look like in the live-action show. But we tried to push that look beyond that guy-in-the-costume look, because we are animated. We can make Klingons look even cooler!
I understood that to mean they were able to give them bigger and more pronounced body types. I mean, look at the Bajoran Lt. Shaxs and how cartoonishly bulky and big they are drawing him compared to the other humanoid characters. I suspect that‘s similar to how Klingons will appear. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is this:

We saw how that turned out in Disco. Another change, "even cooler", ...ugh.
They looked fine in the trailer though.
