Episode 5.03 - Jughead
Posted by DarkUFO at 14:09

As you may or may not know, ABC screened Episode 5.03 - Jughead to the Press yesterday and a few snippets were posted by the various mainstream media outlets. We were lucky enough to have one of our people at that screening and they've just sent me a few snippets that we can post now. They will try to see if they can do a more detailed synopsis nearer the time, but for now they give us the following, some of which we already know from previous reports but I'll post it all here. Any spelling and/or grammar errors are his not mine :)

- One of the best episodes if you like mythology episodes
- We see Desmond and Penny married with child
- Widmore is paying the medical bills of someone in a coma
- Jughead as we suspected is a bomb
- Faraday and Widmore have a surprising connection
- We find out how and why Widmore knows about the Island
- No O6 in this episode
- Someone tells Charlotte they love her

From Ausiello : Although Claire has been benched this season, she will be back for season 6.

From Ausiello : A male character makes this shocking declaration: "Because I am in love with the woman sitting next to me
From Ausiello : Are they concerned that all the time travel this season will leave viewers, ahem, lost? "Time travel has been in the show's DNA from the beginning," says Lindelof. "The audience is prepared to go on that journey with us."
From Ausiello : Sawyer has a lot to do this year," says Cuse. Adds Lindelof: "A lot of the focus was on the Oceanic Six last year... this year we tried to make up for lost time [with Sawyer]. Josh has been doing amazing work."
From Ausiello : A male character poses this question to another male character: "I assume you've come back for the bomb.
From Ausiello : We will be seeing a "lot more" of Nestor Carbonell and has been signed up for Season 6 as well.
From Ausiello : Someone gives birth in the opening minutes!

Episode 5x03 - More Tidbits from TCA

Hey All,
Kristin at E! online has also posted her TCA report about the screening for LOST Episode 5x03 Jughead. This episode seems to be Desmond heavy and here are some other tidbits:

* This episode is an Oceanic Six-free zone. There are no appearances by Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, Sun or Aaron.
* The title of the episode ("Jughead") refers to a thing not a person.
* One Islander declares his love and the object of his affection seems surprisingly elated about the announcement. Guesses?
* Charles "Big Bad" Widmore pops up three times in the episode and each appearance is more surprising that the last.
* Is Desmond your hero? If yes, you will be greatly pleased with this outing of the show, in which he totally kicks ass and takes names, even while he largely fails to achieve his declared goals.
* At least two new foreign languages are used in this episode, which means more subtitle funtimes. Apologies in advance to all the dyslexics out there.
* The following is not a line from the episode, but it could be: "Did you come back for your bong?"

Aaron and JiYeon Time Jump

Update: 12:00 Please remember this info was from the audition, which is normally what happens in the show, although it should be noted that on occasion that Lost producers sometimes audition from a scene that does not necessarily happen on the show. I've emailed some of my sources close to the show to see if this scene will actually be seen. Stay tuned as they say :)

Update: 11:15 This is for Episode 5.13

Thanks to my source Ames for the following information on a recent "secret" casting call/audition.

- A 20's yr old character is being sought.
- This character will play a character in the future on the Island
- This character for the Audition is called Chad but I can reveal the character is actually Aaron
- The Scene takes place in 2030
- Chad/Aaron interacts with a female called JiYeon on the Island.
- The scene was very short, less that 2 pages of script.

New Dharma Logos and job titles

Thanks to my Island source peytoncrimsucks we have 2 new dharma Logo's and the job titles of the returnees when they join Dharma.

Hurley - Chef (zing!)
Miles - Security
Jin - Security
Sawyer - as LaFleur - head of security
Jack - Workman (ouch!)

Horace's suit once again reads Mathematician and has the Arrow logo on his suit.

Also present is as part of this Dharma group is Patrick Fischler (who rocked in Mad Men) as Phil, part of the security team.

Kate and Juliet don't get their own jumpsuits. =(

There's a new Sheriff (and Chef  ) in town!

This bit of info comes as a pleasant surprise. As I was watching the premiere, I was actually thinking... What if we get a glimpse of the future? What if we see grown versions or Aaron and Ji Yeon? Now it looks like it's coming to pass.

Episode 5 looks like a good one. Note some of the guest stars: Melissa Farman as young Frenchwoman, Guillaume Dabinpons as Frenchman #1, Marc Menard as Frenchman #2, Bruno Bruni as Frenchman #3

...which probably means we get some of Danielle's background.

Also now I don't think Charlotte dies because she is listed still as a guest star after episode 3. But why GUEST STAR? She's been in the main credits.

I don't know. I think that's some inaccuracies on ABC's part. She was in the main credits last year... but then again Nikki and Paulo were two years ago, but ABC only called them recurring. Who knows...

Yeah, but you have to admire the writers for realising that they werent working and getting rid of them, and in such a memorable way.

Nice! Locke can go over there and tell himself to stop banging on the hatch door and to quit being a pussy.
