LOCKE TAKES IT UPON HIMSELF TO PUT AN END TO THE ISLAND'S VIOLENT SHIFTS THROUGH TIME, ON ABC'S "LOST"
"This Place is Death" Locke takes on the burden to stop the island's increasingly violent shifts through time. Meanwhile, Ben hits a roadblock in his attempt to reunite the Oceanic 6 and bring them back to the island, on "Lost," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Note: This episode will repeat Feb. 18 from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET.
"Lost" stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Jeremy Davies as Daniel Faraday, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Ken Leung as Miles, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet and Terry O'Quinn as Locke.
Guest starring are Rebecca Mader as Charlotte Lewis, John Terry as Christian Shephard, Fionnula Flanagan as Eloise Hawking, William Blanchett as Aaron, June Kyoko Lu as Mrs. Paik, Melissa Farman as young Frenchwoman, Guillaume Dabinpons as Frenchman #1, Marc Menard as Frenchman #2, Bruno Bruni as Frenchman #3 and Jaymie Kim as Ji Yeon.
"This Place is Death" was written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and directed by Paul Edwards.

Saw that earlier today on LostPedia. I guess that pretty much confirms Eloise is Mrs. Hawking. Between her and Christian showing up, the focus on the French party (although it's odd that they're not credited by their names), and the return of Jin, next week's episode looks to be awesome!

The cast list was released before last night's episode so they didn't want the ending spoiled.

From DarkUFO:

One of the biggest mysteries of "Lost" _ the Smoke Monster _ will be unveiled on the popular TV drama, and soon.

Actor Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin, said in an interview that the origin and nature of the malevolent dark cloud will be disclosed and viewers will even get a glimpse of its lair. Turns out the monster is as "old as the island" that's been home to the Oceanic jet-crash survivors and their foes.
Could this be coming tonight? That's the thought I had when I viewed the second sneak peek from above. How cool is this episode going to be if they feel a scene like that is mundane enough for a sneak peek?

There's also the rule that they don't take Smokey off the shelf unless we learn something new about it, so I have high hopes for tonight!

I highly doubt this considering Cuse and Lindelof have repeated stated that the Smoke Monster mystery wouldn't be revealed until the end of the series and that knowing its true nature would reveal everything about LOST (or something to that effect).
