Does the fact that These Are The Voyages takes place mainly in a holodeck negate the period of time it covers? I was never sure how to feel about it, from a chronological point of view.

I'm not sure that covered a particularly long time, it was just set far into the future.For the purposes of this discussion I think it needs to be time that passes in the actual timeline, without getting rewritten. things like YOH, the Visitor, Inner light etc. shouldn't count.
