Its not any less stupid than the BBC having a gap year between two series for no apparent reason, other than lack of funding and/or interest on the show.
Who? I've just went over the IMDB cast list for Fires of Pompeii, but didn't find anyone who is going to be in Class.Looks like Moffat-era Doctor Who is bringing something else back from Fires of Pompeii:
Capaldi was in Pompeii as one of the Romans.Largely meh. The stuff with Capaldi at the end is the highlight, but otherwise if it weren't a DW spin-off I probably wouldn't look twice at this.

I took it as a given we weren't referencing Capaldi. After all, Solid Snack's post did indicate that the series was taking "something else" from Pompeii, presumably that meant he wasn't talking about Capaldi.Capaldi was in Pompeii as one of the Romans.
Exactly. It's too early to leap to any conclusions. They kind of look sort of like Pyroville to me. Then again Doctor Who's had it's share of villains that look similar to each other.
Actually, she does seem the most interesting character in the show's cast.I will mainly be watching this for Katherine Kelly![]()
Going on the trailers definitely.Actually, she does seem the most interesting character in the show's cast.
