LOL Class

certainly seems that way, or at the very least Torchwood (Hellmouth/Rift whatever you want to call it) but one hopes either the characters will give it something new, or else the sort of things coming through the tears in space will be not quite what we expect. It doesn't really come across but supposedly it's more adult in tone than it might appear.

But, as has been said several times, it's not neccesarily aimed at the likes of us ;)

The kids are not allowed to watch Class because it is sexually explicit, and the adults won't watch Class because they think it's not sexually explicit, or if it is sexually explicit, that it's 15 year olds talking about sex, and having sex, which is a little gross for any one over 20.

Class was badly marketed to define and garner it's audience.

That would be enough to make me feel bad for waiting for the Wednesday night re-runs on Space, but since I work Saturday nights, I have no options but wait until Wednesday. But wow, those numbers are pretty bad. I'm guessing there won't be a second season.

There wouldn't be ratings. It's not on TV, BBC don't release iPlayer figures quickly and BARB don't have info for October yet.

The cast of Josh (britcom mentioned in the linked article) could do a fairly decent do-over of the Second Doctor adventures. :)

Jack Dee as the Second Doctor.

Elis James as Jamie McCrimmon.

Beattie Edmondson as Polly (I want to say "Walker" but that can't be right).

Josh Widdicombe as Ben Jackson.

I thought Class had already been renewed for a second season before an episode even aired? Will the BBC eventually be showing it on BBC1/2 also?

I've quite enjoyed all of the episode - but episode 3 was the best so far, though todays episode had some great moments for Charlie and Miss Quill, and recurring character Miss Aimes.
