Don't be a buzzkill.
Plenty of dudes make it to 120.

Why not?
Are the actors who played Ian and Barbara still active? I know that Ian was shown to still be associated with the school in Day of the Doctor.
In my book, it's a crime that William Russell has not appeared in modern Who, at least as a cameo. It would've been easy in the 50th, or one of the stories that took place at the school. An elderly Ian meeting a youthful appearing Doctor would've been a wonderful reversal of how they original met!

The events of Miracle Day cannot be easily reconciled with the present day events of Doctor Who Series 6, given that the dates given in both clash with each other; Amy and Rory (and Mels) are on Earth during the Miracle, and should therefore be immortal when they meet the Doctor in the cornfield in "Let's Kill Hitler." It should be the first thing they mention to him, and when Mels is shot by Hitler and is forced to regenerate, Amy and Rory should expect her to "survive" on some level, as a Category 1.
I'm not enthusiastic about Class at all, and I know few people who are.
It does seem rather odd that, after years of building up the foundations of what seemed pretty blatantly to be a Paternoster Gang spin-off, we should instead be presented with a series about Coal Hill Secondary School (Actually, shouldn't it be Coal Hill Free School or Coal Hill Academy now?) instead.
New characters, so presumably new actors. Not that Ness couldn't make a silk purse out of the sow's ear that was the class in that Who episode, of course. The longer this takes to get off the ground, the less realistically these kids are still ten years old.
Are we literally talking about the same actors from the forest, which feels like nearly 3 years ago? (Late october 2014)
Boobs, impressive shoulders, shitty little mustaches and 5 inches of height could appear on any of these kids before the camera starts rolling.
Radio Times is owned by the BBC, so if they're saying Capaldi might appear in the show, there is some serious discussion on the matter.According to Radio Times, Peter Capaldi is being sized up for an appearance as the Doctor. Who knows if it will pan out, or it's all media beat-up.
It's a minor crime that William Russell hasn't appeared on DW yet. The 50th would've been an awesome moment with an elderly Ian meeting a young Doctor. Looks like it'll go the same route as Nicholas Courtney who will never get to appear in new DW proper.Jacqueline Hill (Barbara) died years ago. But it would be nice for Ian to make one last Who appearance. It should have been done for the 50th (although he did show up in disguise in "Adventure in Space and Time" and, lets be real, he's not going to be around terribly much longer

I am of course referring to someone other than the leads of those shows being from Doctor Who.And surely Torchwood had a Doctor Who character from the get go?(as did the Sarah Jane Adventures)
