Location of Federation HQ post The Burn

This is the universe that thinks its a good idea to promote inexperienced cadets to be heads of departments of a starship. If they are not the military, then those more experienced officers should take them to a tribunal for constructive dismissal. Lt. Hawkins got kicked out of a job cos he did not speak Romulan and was replaced with a graduate.
I think real life armies help with evacuations and relief, but they are still the army
The Franklin is from before the Kelvin timeline split off.

The term "Federation HQ" is nonsensical.

Is "Federation HQ" supposed to mean "seat of government"?
Or is this another case where writers mix up the Federation and Starfleet? (Burnham called the guy in the space station S3E01 a "Federation officer")

Spoiler for episode 5 Die Trying
guess they finally find Federation HQ in the next episode also Oded Fehr aka Ardeth Bay from the mummy movies is playing a Starfleet Admiral.

Then why else call it Unification III?

Could be as simple as they originally titled it "Unification", because it deals with unifying in some manner, then someone mentioned the TNG two-parter. So they named it "Unification III" to be cute, but it doesn't really continue the story of Spock on Romulus trying to reunify with the Vulcans.

Lower Decks already tricked me with their non-time travel "Temporal Edict" episode. I'm not going to be fooled again.

As someone else pointed out in another thread, the new Starfleet uniforms have somewhat of resemblance to a Bajoran Uniform.

Perhaps another clue as to where the Starfleet HQ is located.

I don't think Unification III will be about the Vulcans/Rommies specifically (I think they're saving that possible storyline for JLP.), but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some tertiary connection.

You got to figure that once they do find the Federation, the first thing Michael is going to do is look up Spock.

We see Saru and a Vulcan(oid) talking in one of the trailers with a (non-desert) planet through the window behind them, and she does the Vulcan salute.

Trill isn't that far from Bajor (relatively speaking) based on Star Charts, which the writers do use for their maps.
