LITTLE BIG PLANET...TODAY!!!

To be honest, I haven't been back to it since the Fallout 3/Gears 2 treadmill started. Maybe after/during the holidays.

So is anyone playing this? I got it about a week ago and I have played it quite a bit. I'm up to the last couple of levels in story mode. I've also played quite a few (30+) community levels already. I gotta say I'm loving the game. It's just so much fun, and I really like the fact that the story-mode levels aren't easy as hell.

I've also done some of the tutorials and have had some fun building levels. Nothing serious though. I've got a couple ideas in my head of what I wanna do, but I plan to play the game some more before getting serious with the level creation.

I do think getting the platinum trophy is gonna be a bitch though. Getting ALL of the prize bubbles in story-mode is gonna be a serious PITA, but what's gonna be even harder is acing all the levels. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to resurrect this thread and see how people are enjoying this wonderful LittleBigGame. ;)

EDIT: I just wanted to add a couple of things.

1) dragunzng, I played both of your levels. Great work man! :techman:

2) RoJoHen, you can grab onto those wheels. If you don't, it's practically impossible to do that level.

Thanks! I'm working on a third at the moment but it's slow going. I've heard some people say Midnight in the Garden is extremely dark, almost pitch black, which is odd because it looks fine on my TV... but then it might not be calibrated correctly. It has me a little worried because my next level is also dark!

I need to get into the LBP community deeper, I'll try to do that more often.

I severely injured my hand a little over a week ago and had to get stitches, so I have been unable to use my left thumb. Sadly, this has meant no LBP, which sucks because I was in the middle of making my first level, and I was actually really enjoying it.

That sucks, hope you feel better soon. Mind if I ask what happened?

I was opening a bottle of wine at work (bartender), and my hand slipped, and the knife on my wine opener decided it wanted to see what happened when you slice open an artery.

The answer: you bleed a lot.

^ Sorry to hear about your accident at work man. Get well soon. :)

Well, I know my TV is calibrated properly and I didn't have a problem playing Midnight in the Garden. OTOH, I bet most people don't have their TVs calibrated properly. ;)

Back on topic, the last level I tried playing was the something something Castle. It's the one right after the Ninja Training level. I was having a really hard time because all it is a lot of grabbing onto spinny things and trying to jump onto the next spinny thing. It's kind of annoying.

Ohh you made some levels, whats your gametag, i would not mind giving them a try.:)

I have sent you a friend request.

I was just playing a bunch of random levels that people have published, and I have a feeling a lot of them haven't actually played their own levels, because some of them are impossible to beat. I had to quit in the middle of a bunch of them because I got stuck and there was absolutely no way to win.

Request accepted.

And yeah, some of the user-created levels totally boggle the mind (and not in a good way).

I dunno what it is with me and this game.

I had hotly anticipated it for two years, and then after that stupid recall and some of the comments made in reviews and by players, I went stone cold on it. Right now, I have no interest whatsoever in playing the thing

I wish I did, but I just don't :(
