I love this episode. It really gives a new perspective to the Klingon people and their justice system. It is a nod to how the court is run during Kirk and McCoy's trial in ST VI. I like the friendship that is formed between Archer and Kolos; how Archer's "humanity" gives Kolos a chance to change his own life and the status-quo of the Klingon judicial system... It's no wonder that it was picked for the "Captain's Log" collective... Powerful episode...

I just watched it, and I agree; it's a delightfully silly farce. It was one of the first Trek episodes I owned on home video, and I still have my laser disc (with "Metamorphosis" on the other side).I, Mudd. Love the silliness of that episode.
Just watched "Genesis" yesterday scary! Deanna is a lizard and Worf is some kind of lobster! And Riker was an ape smashing Picard's fish tank! It is funny to see how they would look
