It's my rating of an episode compared to the rest of the season it aired in, then rated as part of the whole of TNG's run. As long as there are more (2pt) and (1pt) than any of the other emoticons, it's a good or great episode rising above any logic/plot nitpicks. But the 5-mouths-a-puking () is the utter nadir IMHO...
