I was fooling around with some tech and used The Vulcan Hello and Battle of the Binary Stars to do it with, so that was my latest. A really good rewatch especially on high rez, better than the majority of the Trek movies.

Yeah, both episodes build an extremely strong two-parter. When I made my way through all the ST shows I had already watched TOS, ENT and TNG completely when I watched the first (and at that time only) season of DSC. Having seen three full ST shows already, the first two episodes of DSC still blew my away. I like the show in its entirety a lot, but it's a pity that many of the later episodes don't hold up to the starting two-parter.
