The Conscience of the King (TOS) A very impressive one, The connection with Kodos & Lenore trying to do what's best for eachother only for that to be their doom in the end. It also adds extra shades to Kirk and Riley and I wish it was explored more regrading their characters.

Just watched "The Drumhead". Trivia alert, it was one of Jonathan Frakes's first directorial efforts.

This isn't really an episode, but I just watched a side by side comparison with archived footage of Genivieve Bujold and Mulgrew as Janeway. Kind of like comparing a bloop single to knocking it into the cheap seats.

Before that, watched "Lonely Among Us". These early episodes are kind of interesting.

This isn't really an episode, but I just watched a side by side comparison with archived footage of Genivieve Bujold and Mulgrew as Janeway. Kind of like comparing a bloop single to knocking it into the cheap seats.

Before that, watched "Lonely Among Us". These early episodes are kind of interesting.

I remember being horrified at just how bad Bujold was. It looked like the actress had either just got terrible news, or was deeply pissed off at something that had happened behind the scenes or had just forgotten how to act. I’m not a fan of Mulgrew as Janeway but she truly owned and inhabited the character.

Last episode was TOS “Catspaw”. More of a slog than I remember but worth it for the gloriously bizarre revelation of Korob and Syvlia’s true forms and one of my all time favourite Kirk/Spock moments; “Comments, Mr Spock?” “Very bad poetry, captain.” “A more USEFUL comment, Spock!”
