Lower Decks first episode put me in a mood to revisit some classic TNG. “Contagion” is one of my favorite episodes.

Death Wish.

I actually really enjoyed this little gem of a Q episode in the midst of Voyager's decent second season. Lots of thoughtful morality about the power of the state over an individual, assisted suicide (obviously), what constitutes suffering, and all that stuff. I'll watch The Q and the Grey at some point, although it's not nearly as serious an episode as Death Wish it's a nice little conclusion to this mini arc.

Lower Decks - "Second Contact"

Honestly took me a minute to adjust to the tone, but once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it. What a lovely addition to Trek's on-screen legacy - if irreverent and wildly different than anything that's come before.

Discovery - "New Eden"

Finally started up season 2 of Discovery yesterday and I can't believe it took me this long. I already feel more invested and drawn to the show than I did in season 1 - though did enjoy season 1, I didn't love it. Mount is an incredible Pike and that addition alone has really upped my enjoyment level of the show.
