Am I violating the rules too? That wasn't my intent, and I don't watch as many as @Discofan does in a sitting (Which is quite a lot but that's besides the point), but based on your post I am violating the rules. I thought the purpose of this thread to was kind of share the excitement of watching episodes instead of starting a rewatch thread in the specific trek forum. If that's not it than what is this thread still doing open.

I've been willing to look the other way on a sentence or two,

But if someone is doing a complete rewatch, and wants to post reviews, almost every show forum has a thread for that. That's where it belongs. That's not what this thread, or this forum, is for.

In the end it's not a huge deal.

I am not the only one giving a short review of the episodes I watched. Maybe you should issue a collective... directive.

I admit that I got a little carried away right before the premiere of Picard, particularly when I hit the movies. Like tomalak301, I wasn't trying to do anything wrong. But once 11001001 made it clear earlier that this isn't a review thread, that was good enough for me. That should be good enough for anyone.

i will follow the wishes of the moderators, but there were times where this thread actually had discussions rather than people spamming up their post counts. You want this thread to be a way to increase post count? Fine, but I liked adding a little meat to my posts and hoping maybe someone would reply and we can have a conversation. I guess that’s not what this thread is.

I get that this is not the place for lengthy reviews and I see nothing wrong with writing a few sentence for each episode watched. Like 1-5 sentences. Otherwise this thread is just a place to increase post count. I enjoy reading what people think after watching an episode.

Yes it is a "game thread" type thing. Just like that A-Z thing, and the line-by-line things.

If you read this forum's description, it specifically states "...subjects not related to any specific series...". Certainly, an episode review and/or discussion is related to a specific series.

We have forums for every show. That's what they're for: discussing/reviewing/arguing about episodes of that particular show.
