I'm working my way through TNG too right now - it really is a remarkable show. The last two episodes I've watched were 'Brothers' and 'Suddenly Human'. Neither of them tend to make it onto most people's top five lists of all-time best episodes, but even average season 3/4 TNG episodes are indicative of a Star Trek show that's firing on all cylinders, IMO.
