Why wasn't Angela Martine at her post in the phaser control room with her fiance when the coolant leak occurred? She's perfectly fine at the end when Kirk consoles her.
Plus you'd think they could aim and fire the phasers the old fashioned way by visually aiming them from each control room.

It looked like Tomlinson and Styles were in a different area at the end. Perhaps "Phaser Control" had been damaged and they were working from a backup location?

DS9 "A Time to Stand" on H&I
The Season 6 opener.
At the end the ship is heavily damaged and it's warp drive is out. But yet we see the ship underway with it's warp nacelles both completely lit and apparently functioning normally.

It looked like Tomlinson and Styles were in a different area at the end. Perhaps "Phaser Control" had been damaged and they were working from a backup location?

deja q. my fave Q episode. although everyone but picard and data were kind of dicks. some great lines though, especially between worf and Q. "Eat any good books lately" and "Die."

Rewatching Voyager from beginning just finished episode Learning Curve. I always skip the first few seasons (dunno why), but really enjoyed it again. B'elanna seems to get a lot of the technical stuff and interaction with Janeway and is much more interesting as a character in the first few seasons, then seem to be swept aside when Seven comes along.

B'elanna seems to get a lot of the technical stuff and interaction with Janeway and is much more interesting as a character in the first few seasons, then seem to be swept aside when Seven comes along.

I am not such a big fan of the early Voyager seasons, but I totally agree that B'elanna was one of the stronger character then and she gets very spotty character development later on. The writers generally seem to lose interest in her (not entirely, but I do think there is a decline as the show goes on regarding her character).

It looks as if they crashed on the same planet and almost the same spot as where they had found the Gem H'Dar ship previously.

And the whole tension between Alexander and Worf seems so manufactured.
