Always hated the idea that they couldn't find their way back into the Galaxy. The Milky Way galaxy is HUGE.
It's like 'I've accidentally driven out of the US and into Canada and I'm a mile from the border but I can't find my way back because there's no signs." WTF?
They should know how long to fire their maneuvering thrusters to turn 180 degrees around. Do that and go to warp. If they are not out of the blue hazy stuff in five minutes turn 90 degrees and go until you see stars.

Considering how vile the Dominion was. As soon as Weyoon knew that negotiating with Sisko was useless. He should have ordered the self destruct of his battlecruiser while it was docked at DS9. Destroying the station.
