TOS "The Trouble With Tribbles" on MeTV.
They cut the entire scene with Kirk chewing out the shore leave crew for the fight. And his conversation with Scotty.
I'd like to know the explanation behind how an animal with no apparent legs can get up onto the bridge railings. And adhere itself to walls.
As an aside. I was channel surfing and thought I came across one of the final scenes of STIV. And I thought "I don't remember the special effects of the two humpback whales going towards the Golden Gate Bridge being that good." Turns it is was a news story of two REAL humpback whales getting into San Francisco Bay after some food. Supposedly they like anchovies. I'm surprised nobody has named them "George" and "Gracie" yet.

"We'll Always Have Paris"
This is my most favourite Jean-Luc Picard episode. It's a single story with layer upon layer to it that gives the show a lot of rewatch value. As with The Genesis Project, there's an experiment of galactic portent. Jean-Luc discovers that the Milky Way's not such a big place, after all, when he gets a blast from his past. And Data's given charge to $ave the day. Of course, this was in the days before CGI could take hold, so the FX are highly stylised ... in a very pleasing way! And the music is atmospheric and appropriate. Everything that The Very Best of STAR TREK has to offer is present and accounted for.
Hot damn ... I love me some TNG!
