The first half is semi-decent. The second half ... isn't. Oh, well ... it's worth watching just to see Suzi Plaxton's Q hissing out the line, "... stay away from him" to Janeway, out of jealousy. I always laugh! But when "Kathy" first finds John de Lancie's Q in her quarters, it could've been so much funnier. So much better. Instead, they went for giving tacky romantic settings a go. He could've dazzled Janeway - and us - in a truly amusing and memorable way, but that would involve actual effort ... work.

Well the shuttlecraft wasn't introduced in the series at that point as far as I remember. So I guess they didn't have to make an excuse for it? The transporter couldn't be used because it was malfunctioning and needed to be repaired.

It's been so long since I last watched the episode, that I forgot the twist near the end. Ending aside I thought it was a bland episode.

Man Trap. Still every bit a corny, ham-fisted, and goofy as I remember. At least the SFX were updated.
