TOS: Spectre of the Gun
An interesting moment when Sylvia sees Chekov in the shop buying the mortar and pestle. She starts to go in, pauses, then seems to decide to wait for him.
If this is an illusion by the Melkots, why is she making a decision when she's not being observed by the landing party? We are her only audience. Are individual Melkotians posing as the townspeople? Similarly, after Kirk defeats Wyatt, the lawman appears fearful that Kirk will shoot him. Could this be a Melkotian reacting to a situation where he doesn't know what will happen next? Once Spock has performed the mindmelds, have the Melkots lost control of the situation?
Always questions when you've watched it dozens of times.
