List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

Been continuing my TOS binge with season two. Today I've covered:

"Obsession"
"Wolf in the Fold"
"The Trouble with Tribbles"
"The Gamesters of Triskelion"
"A Piece of the Action"

TNG:
Peak Performance: A pretty average episode, but I did like seeing Riker in command again.
Shades of Gray: I liked this one more than a lot of clip show episodes on other shows. MacGyver was notorious for these, and all of them were worse than this one. Of course, given that I'm a Riker fan, I enjoyed seeing him in every scene.

Peak Performance would have been better if they had just done the war game. Adding the Ferengi just gave us yet another instance of Riker and Picard working together and Wesley saving the ship. We already had more than enough of both.

Shades of Gray was adequate for what it was: an episode made with severe limitations imposed.

More TOS bingeing:

"The Immunity Syndrome"
"A Private Little War"
"Return to Tomorrow"
"Patterns of Force"
"By Any Other Name"
"The Omega Glory"
"The Ultimate Computer"
"Bread and Circuses"
"Assignment Earth"

TOS: Tomorrow Is Yesterday, streamed on Paramount+

Spock picks up the film spool, holds a strip up to the light and examines it.

“Poor photography.”

Started season three of my TOS binge. And dear oh dear, the drop in script quality is immediate and rather noticeable, "The Enterprise Incident" aside.

"Spock's Brain"
"The Enterprise Incident"
"The Paradise Syndrome"
"And the Children Shall Lead"
"Is There in Truth No Beauty"
"Spectre of the Gun"

TOS:

"Day of the Dove"
"For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky"
"The Tholian Web"
"Plato's Stepchildren"
"Wink of an Eye"
