List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

My movie rewatch is really proving to me that I consider the films the weak link of this franchise. The only thing I loved about this one was the physical production of the Genesis Planet and Klingon sequences.

DS9: The Dogs of War.

I totally forgot that Grand Nagus Rom happened in this episode. Could have sworn it didn’t happen until the finale.

VOY: "Prime Factors"

Janeway's moral rigidity didn't hit me so great on this viewing, I kept imagining the "In The Pale Moonlight" version where she prioritizes saving the crew over maintaining her own self-respect.
I also kept picturing the eventual assimilation of these people that was revealed on "Picard"... such a dark postscript!

DS9: What You Leave Behind pt.2. You will never, ever convince me that was the right ending for Sisko. Also, never noticed until tonight that they do a tiny reprisal of the minstrel boy song from TNG when O’Brien is leaving his quarters.

It's funny the little things we miss no matter how many times we may have seen an episode. I never noticed the significance of the planet Vulcan having a region called The Forge until someone pointed it out the other day.

I watched: enterprise - affliction/divergence

I like the character of Admiral Krell. Well acted, with some very nice make-up work. Wish we had seen more of him.

DS9 rewatch:

"You Are Cordially Invited" :shifty:
"Statistical Probability " :techman:
"Waltz" :techman:

"Waltz" was awesome. Dukat is the best antagonist in the entire franchise. Hands down.

DS9: "His Way"

Hated this when it first aired, started to appreciate it a little 10-ish years ago, and I'm back to thinking I was right the first time -- this ep is hideous!

"Lethe" (DSC)

The Discovery premiere.

Had my Dad over and wanted to hook him on new Trek.
The last new Star Trek my father's seen is the 2009 Film. I bought it when it came out on Blu-Ray and we all watched as a family. Before that was probably some episode of DS9 or VOY in the '90s, entirely by accident, because I'd be watching it and he would've happened to have come into the living room.

The first full episode with Crazy Dukat and he was at his most psychotic. It's a miracle Sisko got out of there alive.

The assimilation of the Sikarians might have just been a single ship, that happened before the events of "Prime Factors", since Hugh was aware of it (presumably while he was still part of the Collective) but after the events of "Best of Both Worlds" since it's said to be after Picard's time.

DS9: "The Assignment". Not-Keiko vs O'Brien - chilling and creepy (particularly when Not-Keiko is brushing Molly's hair). Oh, and Rom is awesome!
