Hey guys. I had to take a phone call and I missed the portion after the first commercial break where Jack was in the kitchen talking with his son. Can someone fill me in on what was said?

Does anyone know the significance of Hurley telling Jack "You have what it takes"? Does it connect up with the scene I missed?

Anyone? Just a quick summary?

Not much happens. Jack tries talking to David. He mentions the annotated Alice book. Asks what David is listening to (David replies that Jack hasn't ever heard of it). Jack tries again and David says, "We see each other once a month, can we just get through this?" The Jack gets a call from his mom and leaves David at the house.

Is Claire alive or dead? Didn't she get blown up?
