I thought Crazy Claire wasn't too convincing at first but she really sold the whole crazy thing at the end. Creepy.

Not a lot answered this week but a good episode nonetheless.

So Claire is evil, man is black aka smokey aka Locke is evil, and apparently Christian's ghost is evil

How did Rousseau avoid smoky for 16 plus years? She was a little kooky but not particularly homicidal.

What makes you guys think Rousseau avoided Smokey? Claire has all the same signs she did when they first met (right down to the obsession over their children). Like Claire, she was able to be reasoned with if she had a reason to trust someone. Claire's just a bit more aggressive because she's being actively hunted and recently tortured by the other Others. Rousseau was largely left alone which more than sufficiently explains the differences in their violence.

But in no way does it even suggest that Rousseau wasn't in contact with Smokey. (Doesn't suggest that she was either, but that's my point.)

well talk about character development. Claire went from the pregnant whiny little aussie we used to all know and love and now she is an ax wielding homicidal lumberjack, WHERE IS MY BABY!??!! I'VE GOT TO SEE MY BAABY!!!

"Where's my baby?!"

Hey, why don't you look in the middle of the jungle where you put him down AND WALKED AWAY FROM HIM.

Pretty convenient that she forgets this. I assume the work of MiB/FLocke.

Did anyone get the names of the others on the lighthouse mirror? And WHO was at 108?

"Someone's coming to the island." So who's NOT there? DESMOND.
He's "special" to the island.

It's tough to keep all the details straight when you've gone ax-crazy.

Lostpedia says it was someone named Wallace, and it was crossed out. You'd think they would have assigned that one to someone we know, though. Perhaps Vincent's real name is Wallace?

Apparently number 51 was "Austen" and it wasn't crossed out. Interesting...

Makes sense that it's Desmond to me. 108 was the number his entire life revolved around for three years (the number of minutes between entering the code while in the hatch), and a lighthouse is most often associated with a boat, which is his preferred mode of transport.

In my imagination, the sequence of events was something like this:

Christian: Claire, follow me. Your baby can't come, just put him down over there, he'll be safe until we get back.
Claire [dazed]: Okeydoke.

(Later, after Locke sees her in Jacob's cabin, after the Oceanic Six have left)

Christian: Oops! Where did your baby go? (evil inner-chuckle)
Claire: MY BABAY!
Christian: The Others must've taken him!
Claire: [murderous rampage]

I just thought it was the AlternaLosties and that the mirror would be a gateway into their reality. Maybe not.
