Hey guys. I had to take a phone call and I missed the portion after the first commercial break where Jack was in the kitchen talking with his son. Can someone fill me in on what was said?

Does anyone know the significance of Hurley telling Jack "You have what it takes"? Does it connect up with the scene I missed?

Jack's kid is a brat. But then again, it would be hard not to grow up to be a douche with Jack Shepard as your father.
