Exactly, they started off in a much worst condition

In The 37s they said Voyager couldn't operate very well with less than a third of the crew gone (ignoring how long they survived in Year of Hell).

Well, Voyager didn't really operate during the year of hell... it mostly sat there
And we see how stretched the Equinox crew is for resources

A NASCAR driver once said "hitting the wall at 140 feels the same as 150".

The point being you're just as dead at either speed.

You are correct that Equinox and Voyager are of different classes and different abilities,but they're both,in a word,screwed.

But they're not... Obviously both managed to survive, so you can say it's like hitting the wall at 60mph and 40mph... Either way you're goin to need help... but you are likely in better condition in one versus the other

Plus, you are much safer hitting a pole at 40mph in a new 09 Tahoe with all the safety features and size than you would be in a 1990 Honda Civic
