Call to Arms

Quark comes up behind Rom, who is busy modifying the station's systems ahead of the Dominion attack. They debate why Rom hasn't left and why he is helping the Federation. They both claim they are looking out for each other.

Quark says, "Well, like I said, you're an idiot."

And then he kisses him on the head.

If I recall correctly, that kiss on the head was totally unscripted.

Quark growls "I'll kill him!"
Odo says (with a wonderfully subtle delivery by René), "With what?"

When Tucker is introduced to T'Pol for the first time. He holds out his hand and says "Trip, I'm called Trip". T'Pol doesn't handshake and just says "I'll try to remember that". Literally preluding their whole personal relationship. All in those two lines.

I know it’s corny and smug, but I’ve always liked Kirk’s little wink to Chekov when the ship makes it to Warp 1 in TMP.

And also his “Damn!” moment with the glasses in front of Saavik in TWOK.

And in any case, if Guinan (in safe, Federation-run Ten Forward) keeps a rifle behind the bar, why wouldn't Quark? Yes, Odo prohibits weapons on the promenade, but you think that'll stop Quark from sneaking one in?

Back on topic, I enjoyed the scene in "Night Terrors" where Guinan uses said rifle to stop that bar fight cold.

I can actually see Quark not trying to get a weapon from Gaila. He never seemed to like Quark (according to Rom), and he did try to kill Quark with his ship 'gift' about half a dozen episodes later.

(Only reason Gaila sought him out in "BUSINESS AS USUAL" was to solve some issues for his business, as well as be his successor so he can retire. Considering how Hagath is, this was NOT Gaila doing him a favor.)
