Did anyone watch it?

I caught it while changing channels, and stopped in my tracks to go "Is that Colm Meaney?"

Unfortunately I couldn't stop to watch the rest of it - was he any good?

What are you talking about? Tonight's SVU? It only just started. When you posted that message, it hadn't yet aired.

No - Law and Order - standard series.

It was on CTV in Canada this evening at seven. It looked like the most recent episode according to IMDb so I figured it was on elsewhere too.

How the hell does Canada get L&O before we do? That episode won't air till tomorrow. :scream:

This is weird. I thought that since L&O was an American made series, we'd get it first. Who determines when the show will air in different countries?

^ The timeslot of the show in different countries. This really isn't anything new though. Smallville used to air a day earlier in Canada (last season). Battlestar aired in England before it aired in the US.

But neither of those shows are American made. I always thought a show gets first airtime in the country where it was created. Guess I was wrong. :p

Just saw the episode. It was icky. Meaney played the leader of fundie LDS group- had six wives, including a really young one who ran away.

The ending was such a cop-out.
Meaney's character was such a creep. I wanted to see him get taken down. What a #)(%^#^ loon. Couldn't believe the girl went back to him in the end, knowing full well she's little more than a slave.
