Law & Order General Discussion Thread

They've already started filming yet we only know three of the six actors. Someone's got to have loose lips somewhere, right?

Yeah, apparently the next arc isn't going to be about the Mercy Killers like I thought it would be. That's where I thought they were heading with Kilbride (and Nova going back undercover).

And, God help us all, there's gonna be more Wheatley. :barf:

That's the third arc... the Marcy Killers.

Well so far it's not too bad. I'm honestly more annoyed with Angela.

But damn... she was playing everyone. Great heel turn by Tamara Taylor.

I really can't give two flicks about what is going on OC, which is a shame became Jet & Bell are great characters stuck playing second fiddle to angsty Stabler. And heck even Enterprise Season 3 was better at sticking with its arcs than OC is.

I wonder what Bell was going to tell Stabler at the end. Didn't want Stabler to be blindsided...by what? The DA's office not retrying Wheatley?

Speaking of whom:

I'm now convinced that Wheatley was not in on the plan to frame Eli. That must have been all Angela's doings.

Angela does say to Dana that "Your father should be able to arrange something" (for Dana to disappear) but that doesn't mean Wheatley knows WHY.

The kicker was Wheatley's blowup in Barba's office. If he'd been working with Angela the whole time, he wouldn't have done that.

Also, Wheatley DID originally have Angela poisoned...

And, for God's sake, HOW THE ACTUAL FUCK DID THEY GET TO RICHIE?!??!? :scream:

Also, refresh my memory, but Olivia and Noah never showed at the Stabler Christmas party, did they? I don't recall seeing them there at the end of the episode.

As much as I wish all this Wheatley crap would end, I do like how Barba stood up to him regarding Wheatley's persistent offers for Barba to be his new "consigliere".

I mean, Barba did defend Wheatley as vigorously as possible, as any decent defense attorney would, but it's clear he doesn't like the guy. (To be fair, Barba probably doesn't like most people. )

Also, I think we understand Eli a lot better now. When he was doing things like selling his grandma's meds, he wasn't doing it to be a dick, he was just conflicted. I like that Eli and his father patched things up, as it were. Eli's not a bad kid, he's just in a lot of pain, which is of course understandable.

And Elliot's not a bad father, either. Under the circumstances I think he's a pretty GOOD father. Which is kind of an anomaly; traditionally, L&O doesn't treat fathers very well.

(seriously, do any of the L&O detectives - in ANY series - have decent dads? )

Yep. Especially in regards to Angela. That can be over yesterday. :shifty:

Yea, but it'll take quite a bit for him to be friends with Olivia again. The writers really threw him under the bus.

Exactly. At least we now know why he was doing what he was doing. To try to numb the pain.

 Yea they usually suck at it. But he's always been the anomaly, he was ok with his kids over the years ( Who can ever forget the guard it with your life talk that he had with Kathleen?:guffaw:).

Lost in the shuffle is news that Odelya Halevi is the other ADA. So the cast has been filled.
