Latest acquisition!

Who is that supposed to be on the cover?
I really wish we'd get more characters introduced in the books on the covers. I know the characters from the shows are a bigger draw, but it would be nice to get official images of more of the book characters.

This week’s “Star Trek” haul! “Body by Starfleet” by Robb Pearlmann in hardcover (Running Press); Una McCormack's “Picard: The Last Best Hope” (Gallery Books) hardcover tie-in prequel novel to the new TV series; and IDW’s “Year Five” Valentine’s Day comic special issue and the first “Year Five” trade reprint omnibus.

Got Making More Fake Star Trek by Andy Bray and John Lim. More behind the scenes at the Star Trek Phase II fan films, this time with George Takei along for the ride.

Last edited:
The NCC-1701 & NCC-1701-A Illustrated Handbook and the Eaglemoss 1701-A die-cast model from the local Joseph-Beth Booksellers.

Also got the digital version of the Foundation trilogy from Amazon for $3.98 (US).

New arrivals. Latest IDW “Star Trek: Year Five” comic (issue #10), thanks Kings Comics, and a bargain-priced porcelain Andorian from the Danbury Mint on eBay. (I already have the whole set, but who can resist a spare Andorian?)

Appreciate the heads-up. Thank you. I might have missed this otherwise.

Odd that the Germans get better covers. I almost bought one of them because of that not realising it was in German.

I remember that too, because I was disappointed it was going to be that short right from the initial announcement.

I recently got a copy of the DS9 Companion, to read along as I watch the episodes during my part re-watch and part 1st time watching of the DS9 show. It's a monster of a book. It was on my radar ever since I flipped through a copy a couple month ago and saw the map of Bajor that they sketched out for themselves to make it more real for their creative development process.
