Big week for Star Trek stuff. Eaglemoss HeroCollector’s “Shipyards: Federation Members” hardcover manual; GaleForceNine’s “Andorian Empire” expansion set module for the “Ascendancy” RPG; issue #1 of IDW’s “Picard: Countdown” comic; and the CD set of Robert Petkoff’s unabridged Simon & Schuster audio book of the 40th Anniversary of the novelization of TMP by Gene Roddenberry.

The latest issue of IDW's "Star Trek: Year Five" is out (#8), plus Season Two of "Star Trek: Discovery" on DVD and Blu-Ray, complete with bonus scenes, bloopers, two of the "Short Treks" that were relevant to the ongoing story plus commentary tracks on some episodes.

And new this week...

New Trek and Orville stuff
by Ian McLean, on Flickr

And new this week...
IDW's "Star Trek: Voyager" one-shot comic, "Mirrors & Smoke", set in the Mirror Universe (two covers!), and the DVD of "The Orville" Season Two.

I got an Amazon gift card today, so I decided to get kindle versions of collection of The Q-Conflict comic crossover, Titan: Fortunes of War, and TNG: Available Light.

The Autobiography of James T. Kirk for my Kindle.

I own the hardback, but digital books are just so much easier on my eyes.

Happy to have acquired copies of both the ST:TMP Blueprints and The Star Trek Maps from 1980. Both in very, very good condition, too!. Combo late birthday, early winter solstice present to myself.

Went to the comic book store to grab Picard Countdown #2. Also picked up the Star Trek Concordance by Bjo Trimble.

This week’s “Star Trek” haul: RPG sourcebooks “Alpha Quadrant” and “Strange New Worlds: Mission Compendium, vol 2”, and three IDW comics: “Picard: Countdown” #2, “Year Five” #9 and the facsimile edition of “The Motion Picture” adaptation (previously released by Marvel 40 years ago).

Two books have just been delivered:

- TNG Hearts and Minds (Herz und Verstand) by Dayton Ward. I'm a litte bit disappointed: it is a new book and has pink discolorations outside the pages. But it is readable and I'm too lazy to sent it back and ask for a new book

- Hardcover of The Neverending Story

So I'm happy for today.

I got the new Star Trek Picard Tv guide magazine. I found it this morning and they cast is really excited about this series.

The only new picture they have was Patrick on the starship set from the photos that were released last week. They mentioned that Patrick wanted to show a side of Picard where he was irritable & grumpy and that he could be rude probably to the admiral in the preview we've seen when he talks about Dahj being in danger. No major spoilers are in the interview. They also interview Isa Briones and Micehlle Hurd.

Bought the complete run of Marvel's Starfleet Academy on Ebay for $25. Looks to be in pretty good shape. I waited years for IDW to do a complete collection, but it never materialized.

I got the official Star Trek Magazine in the mail It's got Patrick Sewart on the cover and alot of stuff about the Picard series, They had some nice articles honoring D.C Fotana and Rene Aubergenois and Aron Eisenberg.
