Last Thing You Think Of Before You Fall Asleep??

I can literally fall asleep at the flick of a switch 95% of the time. So at the end of the day I'll lie down in bed, think about whatever I did that day or need to do the next day. Then when I am ready I turn over on my stomach close my eyes and just sleep. The key is being able to lie on my stomach. Strangely enough, it's the only way I can go to sleep at night.. If forced to lie on my back it takes much longer. This rule, even stranger, does not apply during naps. For naps I can be in a comfortable chair, on a couch, pretty much anywhere and be out like a light in seconds flat.

I'm also one of those people that has an excellent internal clock for waking up. I still use an alarm clock, but 90% of the time I can wakeup when I need to.

Who actually remembers when they fall asleep? Think about it. :vulcan:

There are a few days where I'd wake up and be able to pinpoint the exact moment I fell asleep the night before. Now this doesn't happen all the time, it's just happened a handful of times.

My stories actually help me get fairly close to pinpointing the moment: when things in the story start happening that I didn't plan, or when the stories stop making sense I know I'm just about gone. The other clue is when I start narrating or speaking dialogue aloud -- I'm a sleep talker, so if the stories go verbal I know I'm about to conk out.
