Last movie you saw?

Molly's Game, the one movie where I don't find Michael Cera irritating, which is interesting given he plays an utter dick in this.

Followed by The Others, the greatest ghost story ever told.

Went to the AMC Lufkin yesterday for Second Act, Replicas & The Upside.

Of the three, The Upside was the best one, a good performance by Bryan Cranston & Kevin Hart wasn't obnoxious, for once.

Finished my Trek binge a little early last night and needed a filler before bedtime.
Monty Python & the Holy Grail on Netflix. Still a classic .... (Nee)

Went to AMC Lufkin yesterday for A Star is Born (2018), Creed II, and Glass.

A Star is Born was a hell of a good movie, if ya haven't seen it yet, I'd recommend checking it out since it was the best of the three.

I saw Hunter Killer, the submarine movie with Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman. It was a good movie. I hadn't seen any reviews of it but I was pleasantly surprised.

I think it's the fourth one with that name.

Went to a discount Tuesday showing of On the Basis of Sex at the Cinemark Lufkin earlier tonight. Almost had the theater to myself, until a mother & her daughter showed up just when the trailers started.

I think it's the fourth one with that name.

You're right, it is. My bad. Still, hell of a good movie, and it got a bunch of Oscar nominations!

IO on Netflix the other night. Low budget indy house fair and somewhat enjoyable. Was expecting more, especially with the casting but, alas, was average at best...

Yeah, saw this last weekend and was very average. The premise itself was interesting, but I feel that with a lot of Netflix movies, the premises are often the most interesting thing about them, but then don't really follow through on them, and a lot of them just seem to lose steam and abruptly end with a fizzle.

Watched "The Goodfellas": I just love the dialogues, especially Joe Pesci!! Some of his lines have become classics.
