Last movie you saw?

Glass Onion. I enjoyed it, although it's going to require multiple rewatches to catch most of the Easter eggs and foreshadowings.

Tetris was very entertaining.

Air Force One. Awesome movie.
I still think they should have made it a Jack Ryan movie. Give Ford a trilogy.

He could've had a trilogy but he and the director of his two Jack Ryan movies couldn't work out a script for The Sum of All Fears, then they both walked.

Bullet Train.

Almost like Kurosawa, Tarantino, and the Coen Brothers got together to make a thoroughly awesome, funny movie. And it was.

Four Lions, and it was quite good, though I like Riz Ahmed quite a bit already. It was both funny and sad. Have to recommend it !:bolian:

A rewatch of The Rise of Skywalker. I like it a little more than I did before yesterday but it's still not a very good movie.

Ghosted over on Apple+. Wasn't a great story, plot holes and dumbness infused, but the action was pretty decent. Popcorn romp that just doesn't stick with you for more than an hour after watching... 6.5/10

I started the new Disney+ live action Peter Pan and Wendy, I have about half an hour left that I'll watch tonight or tomorrow morning. It's been good so far, great cinematography, some pretty good acting from the kids, and a great Capt. Hook with Jude Law.

The Marcus-Nelson Murders. Its a tv movie from the early 70s that served as the pilot to the tv show Kojak.

I watched the first two acts of the D&D movie at a theater, which I enjoyed quite a bit, until there was a big problem with the theater's sound system and they had to abort the screening. Guess the theater was lucky it happened during an afternoon/early evening screening with only three people in the audience. I got my money back, plus vouchers for soft drinks and popcorn, so I have no hard feelings towards the theater.
Still, I would have liked to see what happens. It really got interrupted at the end of the second act and the beginning of the third, as the team puts the painting in the coach (I said as un-spoilery as possible). With my new job, I can't go to the movies on a day I have to work, and it is about two hours of way from my home to the theater and back.

My wife doesn't often ask to see specific movies in theaters, so when she expressed interest in Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, I jumped at the chance to show equity given how many movies she's gone to because I was interested.

It was a fun film, too. Very funny and heartfelt. I'm sure anyone who has been a teenaged girl would relate to it more than I did, but it was still a delightful little film about a girl growing up and her family dysfunction.

Don't Worry Darling was on HBO Max so I watched it. There was intrigue at first, but then it turned into boredom and eventually became WTF.
