Last ditch for insurance fails...

Actually it's kind of funny but they want to know your entire medical history, which we don't have really because of how many different doctors I've been too. We can't remember some of the situations on why we went but only knew it was important.

Lobby your representatives to have insurance companies cover pre-existing conditions. They do here in Mass. I'm sure it adds a little to the cost but ours doesn't seem any higher than prices I've seen in this thread.

Unfortunately, he lives in Texas. It's a 180 degrees difference here from Mass.

Here they give you a shot of whiskey and hope the pain goes away.

You should shop around. I've never heard of someone paying $500/monthly for individual health coverage.
o.O Seriously?
That's about what they quoted to me for COBRA when I got laid off last year, and I don't have (nor have had) any major problems. Woulda been insane if I'd had my kid and wife on it as well.
So I went without. Whaddya gonna do?

Honestly, that is the most aptly named insurance company I've ever seen.

It's not funny at all, and probably why you got denied. You say your mom knows all this stuff about insurance, yet she doesn't know your history? She thinks its ok to commit fraud?>

Insurance companies have databases that contain ALL your information. Strong work.

Dude, I have conditions that even specialists have never ever seen and I had to go to specialists doctors that we've forgotten about because they said simply they can't fix it and that was that. So why keep records on that stuff? Plus in 20 years, the stuff they knew then pales to what they know now. Hell in fact, the condition in my arm could be a thesis paper for a doctor, that's how rare of a condition it is.

No, my mom doesn't know my history. We either thrown some of that stuff out or can't get it. I had a leg problem that they thought would clear up when I got older but oops, they were wrong. The records are gone because we didn't think it was going to be a problem after a few years but then they realized they had it wrong and that my leg was a problem.

It's funny that the right to life is being trumped by the rights of capitalism. If the insurance companies didn't short cut anyone, we wouldn't have a problem.

The insurance company has the records thats what Im trying to tell you

It's a huge burden on business and they will be looking to cut costs anyway they can

Which is why Tax Cuts are the best, and proven, way to stimulate business and therefore the economy.

So in the short term you are correct. Businesses are cutting back. But if the US ever gets captialist friendly again we'll all see our standard of living raise.

It had 8 years to get "capitalist friendly" and things plummeted.

Which was caused by socialist ideals undermining the process. Barney Frank can't give a homes to people who simply can't afford them without it causing a problem at some point. [/Beat Dead Horse]

Given the stuff that you past I very much doubt you know what socialism is, what socialist ideals are or have any credibility.

It's much easier to BLAME GEORGE W BUSH than to comprehend the Constitution and understand that it's the 535 members of CONGRESS who approve of spending :rolleyes::rolleyes: Who knew the former President has such power?

Ah, but I didn't blame him. You must be thinking of someone else.
