Ladies... * * Kirk or Spock? * * Who is sexier?

And I mean the Chris Pine portrayal as Kirk versus Zack Q. as Spock in this year's film.

My wife finds Spock sexier, and my best friend's girlfriend thinks Kirk is sexier. I thought thay was interesting and started asking all the women I knew who saw the film who they thought was sexier. It was about a 50/50 split, so I would like to compare with the results here.

So who do you think is sexier?

Oh, Quinto's Spock, no question. And the woman friend I saw the movie with would definitely agree.

For that matter, I've always preferred Nimoy's Spock to Shatner's Kirk, too. And the woman friend I saw the movie with would definitely agree.

A lot of geeky women (who used to be geeky girls) preferred Spock, always. And so we were all very glad that the new Spock is, yet again, sexier than the new Kirk.

The thing is that both Kirks are more conventionally good looking than both Spocks. But some of us prefer unconventionally good looking.

And besides...Spock rocks! All the geeky girls know that!

Characters- wise, I'd have to give it to Pine's Kirk. I really don't like the look they gave Quinto as Spock.

Now, if we're talking about RL, I'd have to go with Quinto. The dark brows, hair and eyes are just too much for me to resist.

Yeah, then look on my face when I first watched the "Disease and Danger" trailer must've been priceless. I never would've expected what Urban pulled off in this movie.

Me, too. For me - because I was avoiding all spoilers and somehow managed to miss several of the trailers, too - I had no idea until McCoy entered that shuttle. Golly!

I remember I heard his voice- knew instantly that must be Mc Coy- and my head just whipped around. His presence in that scene was just that strong and he wasn't even on camera at that point.

If Abrams would've done us a favor and allowed Spock to run around in his underwear as well, things might be a little easier.

But perhaps that was saved for the sequel.

Yeah - I can't vote in this poll because neither Pine nor Quinto made any impact on me from a sexiness point of view. I was too taken with McCoy

Quinto's Spock, but it's close, I have to say... I like Pine as Kirk better than I liked Shatner. But then, I was always a Spock girl.
