I really can't decide if this show recognizes the original or purposely tries to ignore it. I'm so confused. I think Team Knight Rider gave more respect to the original than this show does.

I'm with you...I think this show is badly written and badly acted. And, I think, the morphing stuff is just plain dumb. I thought I liked it at the start, but it just insults my brain as much as the bus jumping crap in Speed.

With all the new shows back, KR is just sinking down the list of the must TV weekly TV stuff...I see this sinking to the 'get on DVD' list for next summer....

That was a terrible episode. I haven't watched this show since the mini series and I sure as heck won't be watching it after this episode.

Yeah, me too, as far as I know, there was only a pilot last year, and no mini series.

The 2 hour tv movie is what i refer to as the miniseries. A backdoor pilot much like nBSG.

I didn't say "Pilot" because the first episode of the TV series is called "Pilot".

At this point I really hope that just start cutting the budget even more and that the writing sinks to a "telenovela" level of crapiness (yes, I don't think it is there yet). This is the best guilty pleasure show in a long time.

With budget cuts running rampant, it might be cheaper just to keep the show instead of starting some new franchise. Just rehash the old one, but with more scenes at the beach, Baywatch style.

I am afraid you are incorrect. The TVMovie was renamed Pilot after the series was approved. The first episode was called "A Knight in Shining Armor".

I had thought the episode after the TV movie was called "Pilot". I remember it been mentioned here and I even double checked Wiki and it had that episode under the name "Pilot".

^ I'm looking at the Wikipedia page and the IMDB page. The TV Movie was titled Pilot and episode 101 (the first aired episode) is A Knight in Shining Armor.
