Nothing was said about special bullets I believe.
As far as I know they are all dead.

Well, they'd have to be the special kind of insta-kill bullets that only exist in TV and movies. In real life, unless you're shot in the brain or brainstem, you can keep going for several minutes after being shot, and therefore continue to be a threat. Dying from a bullet wound is a slow, messy business.

Well, we are talking about a tv show, not reality, so instant death-bullets don't bother me. Especially in a show like KR.

That was one of the most retarded and pointless deaths I've ever seen (ok, we didn't actually "see" Graimen's death, but still). Ranks up there with Trip.

Rest of the ep was OK, I guess. This one really changes things, as we lose two characters. Graimen dies, and Carrie is unable to go back to her job.

Depends on the ratings of the upcoming episodes. The Season/Series finale is scheduled for some time in February.

Depends on the ratings of the upcoming episodes. The Season/Series finale is scheduled for some time in February.

I wonder if it will be like the ones from the original with KITT getting severely damaged and needing to be rebuilt.

I have to say that episode was pretty weak. Now I love this show, but last night's was just soft and poorly acted. It needs to being either hard and kick ass, or silly with more pool scenes. Otherwise it comes off as a soap opera level of a show. The special effects were really bad, I just hope they were saving their budget for the return of KARR.
Why then Mike was one shot-one killing the bad guys, that was in normal mode, but it was super dramatic slow motion when he was opening the door. Twice!

I'm also worried that KR will go up against the premiere of Lost next week. Even Peter Cullen may not be enough to pull me in. If it is going to be "KARR tries to disrupt the Tropicana girl contest" then I'm in.

In next week's episode the US Government orders Knight Research closed. KITT is turned over to the NSA.

Spoiler: What I think will happen

Mike, Sarah, Billy, and Zoe (since they're the only ones not fired) will break in and steal KITT. They'll go out on their own and work for themselves using Charles' estate for funding or, perhaps, this is how they eventually include the Hoff in the show if it isn't cancelled as the real Michael Knight serving as a silent backer of the group in a Devon like role (only unknown).

Even though Graiman's death seemed a little contrived, Mike, Sarah, and surprisingly KITT's reaction to it had quite an emotional punch. From Mike's stone-cold state of shock, to Sarah initially thinking it's a joke, to KITT saying "Our father is dead." Of course, there's the obvious back door to bring the doc back later on.

I'm not sure, but I would imagine so. I'm surprised she wasn't already, since I don't think there's a single episode she hasn't been in.

There'd be tons of complaints about how it's too much sexual content, too much titillation and a complete lack of sophistication.

It'd be the highest rated episode of the entire series.
