Kirk not happy not being in XI?

Also, i watched an episode of Boston Legal in which the charactered he played got married..to a man. It was slightly disturbing only because all I could think of was Captain Kirk, kissing an old doubled-chinned man instead of a mod alien lady.

Boston Legal was probably his best bit of acting.

And so what, he kissed a boy and he liked it. :p

Denny Crane never kisses Alan in the episode. They all kiss Shirley though.

What about the rumor that he is actually in Star Trek XI and all this stuff going on with him and Abrams is just a smoke screen to finally surprise the public when they show up and see his name on the poster...

His name wouldn't be on the poster if he's in the movie and they want it to be a surprise. There are two known actors who have small roles in Tropic Thunder. They're not on the poster or in any ads, but they do show up in the end credits cast sequence.

So it is possible..thank you! I could be wrong but I don't think John Larroquette (maybe spelled wrong) was in the credits of Star Trek III and had more than just a cameo.

Larroquette's name appeared in the credits but not on the poster (which had the names of the principals, Buttrick and Lloyd only -- Maltz wasn't that big a part.) However, his appearance in the film wasn't supposed to be a surprise anyway, so I'm not sure why you bring it up here.

Of course he was there!

You're thinking of Judson Scott in ST II, whose agent thought he was about to be a huge star in "The Phoenix" and pressured to have his name in the opening credits. Judson was coerced, instead, to "waive billing" but he only found out on premiere night that it meant "no billing whatsoever".

Whoopi Goldberg personally waived billing in "Generations" so as not to overshadow her friend, Patrick Stewart, as Whoopi should have insisted on top billing due to her Academy Award-winner status, IIRC.

Ashton Kutcher had a very prominent role in "Cheaper by the Dozen", as the boyfriend whose underpants get marinated in meat juices, but he elected for no credit.
