I dunno, that last episode felt like a sort of finale. You had Hank talking about how he'd waited thirteen years for Bobby to join a team (in-universe it might be Bobby's age, but we know what he's really talking about), and then the ending had everyone around the picnic tables, with Hank kinda passing the torch (or, more literally, the tongs) to his son.
This show has never been overly heavy on continuity, so it's not like there are storylines that need to be wrapped up in the finale. I liked the way it was kinda just another episode, but hitting enough of the right notes to give us some closure. (Bobby's teammates were absolutely ridiculous, though, and not in a fun way.)
