Katee Sackhoff joins 24

Cool, it will be totally cool to see her character fake her death, come back for a while, but this time actually die.

I hope so. I can't stand her.

Oh, thank GOD, I wasn't the first to say it. I have NEVER liked her. I think she's a dreadful actress.

She was on Law & Order awhile back and was basically playing Starbuck all over again. I hope her 24 character is different.

(At least Michael Trucco showed some range when he was on SVU...played a very un-Anders character)

I really liked her on Nip/Tuck.

Interesting casting but I think that much like this past season I will be watching Day 8 casually...checking in every few episodes here and there. I was really hoping after seeing the Day 7 season finale that we would get Annie Werching as the new lead with a surviving Jack as her mentor giving advice over the phone.

Does this show really need that many people sitting at computers all day long with nothing to do other than to bicker with one another? I guess that's why, other than Chloe, they rarely come back for another year because it'd be obvious they're doing the exact same stuff they did last year.

For some reason I thought that she was attached to a new cop show. Did that fall through? Or am I mixing her up with some other BSG actress? :wtf:

Other than the obvious -- the Bauers, the Drazens, the Palmers, the Logans, etc. -- does it mean anything when characters have the same last name? Because Katee's character has a name that goes back to season one.

Didn't like her character in BSG. Didn't like her character in BW. PArtly writing partly acting. Probably won't like her character in 24. A reason not to watch, but I'll wat ch an ep or 2. If I'm wrong I'll say so.

I'm looking forward to seeing Sackhoff on 24. She'll be equally good as either a hero or villain. How many other former BSG actors will be working next season, and in what?

BTW, Annie Wersching (Agent Renee Walker, FBI) still rules.

Aaron Douglas is the lead in a crime drama called The Bridge, which will be a midseason show on CBS. Tricia Helfer has a couple of guest starring parts lined up, first on SyFy's Warehouse 13 this summer and then in the pilot episode of Fox's Human Target in the fall. Tahmoh Penikett is currently filming Riverworld (he's the male lead, while Laura Vandervoort is the female lead), a SyFy miniseries (adapting the Philip Jose Farmer books) scheduled to air next year with an eye to possibly becoming a series.

I didn't catch the first season, but I assume Penikett will be back for a second season of Dollhouse, too, right?
