I like the way they have Piper start considering writing a memoir. This could turn Kaufmanesque in a hurry.

Just started my binge!
Alright, I've got to watch this series next...or concurrently with my VOY rewatch. Saw the first ep of the first season last night and enjoyed it. I barely recognized Mulgrew though!
There are certain characters in the other prison that really could use a follow up here. Like, it’s feeling heavily likely to me that Soso may attempt suicide again. Unless she has very short time left on her sentence by now.
So, for thse who ended watching S6, what did you think? For my part, though I have flied over the 13 episodes, I said that this season was sensibly better than the previous one and even there is 1 season to be made and released, so much possibilities still remain. I wonder what will be Red(s fate?

I am trying (successfully so far) not to read any spoilers here, but I can see why you all have binged on this series. I've already watched 5 eps in 2 days (and would have been more if I didn't have to work). I watched 2 last night, had insomnia and got up and watched a 3rd in the middle of the night. Ha ha.

I just finished and really enjoyed it. The last few episodes really built up the tension between the gangs. I was dissappinted but not surprised at the trial verdict.
Also there was a sense of finality to the last episode. It was a pretty happy ending

Watching Piper this season is PAINFUL. She's so dumb, seems to be making all the worst possible moves as if deliberate.

Piper's stupidity got so massive it literally collapsed in on itself and got her in the early release list.

Tough thing about this 'release all at once' business is you have even longer to wait until you find out what happens next.
I liked the way the kickball game and the sister rivalry ended. But then Morello possibly with a miscarriage, Flores being released into deportation after that excruciating buildup of her happy ending, getting to try to have a baby. And of course Taystee, but I guess if they're going for realism she has years and years of appeals if she was in fact given a death sentence.

Yeah, but I wouldn't want to wait a week per ep. Then about 5 Eps out they do that 4 week holiday break then two more then another two weeks dragging out 13 eps. I just say get on with it then live your life all year and rewatch and then tune in for the next season. I miss 26 episode seasons. Hehe. I'd settle for 15 to 20 eps.
I like the week to week format just because it makes everyone always on the same page so creates better conversation.

Lucky us because Netflix France proposed to watch the 13 episodes of the new season 6 in one shot and that, right last Friday from 9:00 or 10:00 am.
I'm pretty sure that was 'AdSec' ('Administrative Security'), so not really a block at all. But I guess they could call it one anyway. Though they never refer to Isolation/the Shoe as E block or anything, so, I don't know.
The cell block numbers in AdSec start with A, that's why I think that's supposed to be "A block" even though it's not referred to as such.
A would also be an obvious reference to AdSec, though. I agree there's no other apparent candidate for Cell Block A, though.
What I didn't care for was the back stories of Madison and Daddy. Not the time for that. We have some threads to weave in first. I'm a little concerned that Tasha thing was rushed, etc will be pushed aside to focus on MCC take over and next season might be more hard asses and their psycho tales. What about the crew you invested in for 6 years? And I was disturbed that although Red was SCALPED the feds didn't bat an eye and defended the late Piscatella.
I actually didn't realise that Flores was sent to deportation. That makes it a little sadder. I want surprised at all about Taystee's trial.
