^ Oh that sounds yummy... but very very dangerous. After a month I would end up on the 6 o'clock news being cut and/or removed from my own home with a chainsaw and forklift. I will have feasted on so many Karl-McCoy-Pops that I will be to fat to fit through the front door... or the back door... or any of the windows. 
My only escape would be through a wall. Of course with all the leftover popsicle sticks I could build a new larger house.

Why the stupid obsession with 3-D? (Full disclosure: I'm especially mad because I'm one of those people who can't see 3-D; I get sick when I watch it; same with certain IMAX configurations.)

Leaked photos have been very few with NONE of Karl - and the "official" movie website is still the same with a movie poster and 2 links for release dates and signing up for updates (I guess it won't be updated any time soon).WAAAHHHH!!!!!! No Black Hat till early 2011 now.

I'm on the fence with 3D. I've found that I can't wear my contacts and see a 3D movie. The only reason I can think of is that I have contacts called "multi-focal" by B&L. I'm still nearsighted but now need reading glasses - these contacts help some, but it seems that depth perception is not too good.
Unfortunately, 3D and IMAX might be the way to go in the future because of the advances in technology for home theater, and standard theater and movie studios needing to make a profit. IMHO, why spend lots of money going out to a movie when you can wait and get the DVD to play in the comfort of your own home? My parents have a wide screen HD plasma and received a blu-ray for Xmas from me and my sisters. I can tell you that both ST and Harry Potter were so much better on that plasma than in the theater, not to mention CHEAPER!

I agree, Kitty. As much as I love the moviegoing experience, I've been watching a lot more at home recently. And if it's going to go the way of 3-D and IMAX, I'll have to keep doing that unless I want to get eye transplants so I can see the movies the way they're meant to be viewed. Luckily, for now they seem to be showing 2-D copies at some theaters, but I can see that eventually going away as people demand a more thrilling moviegoing experience--all the time.

Man, what's with this 3D obsession? Please, spare me. *pouts*
I've never been able to see 3D. My opto said it's because my eyes figured out how to compensate for each other or some such thing. I don't feel like I've missed anything I can't live without but I've often thought it would be nice *sighs*

I will be honest. 3D does nothing for me personally. I consider it a gimmick that lends no real value to the storytelling process. I guess you could say the same thing about "surround sound" or IMAX screens to but they at least give you something that isn't intrusive and irritating. Unlike some here, I can see it and for some things it is kinda cool (for scares and stuff) but all it really does is give me an absolutely splitting headache. We are talking about a headache as close as you can get to being a migraine without it actually being a migraine. And I am usually dizzy for a couple of hours or so after too. Plus the silly glasses also sit across the scar on my nose (where I broke it) and makes me feel like I am suffocating. (I wear contacts for a reason.) Basically, I only see things in 3D when I am either forced (Monsters vs Aliens) or tempted by the hype (Avatar, Coraline). Other than that I would rather not bother with it. It's just not worth the torture.

Really? I'm only in my late teens. Huh... Then again, I do tend to favour men who're older than me.
