Does anyone know anything about the graphic novel series that this movie is going to be based on? I hope they actually let him be evil rather than pointlessly effete like Anne Rice vampires.

I don't, but there seems to be reasonably thorough overview at Wikipedia.

Wow. I always like him best in the longer hair and jeans and t-shirt; they are definitely my favorite Karl. Casual, faded colors emphasize his beautiful eyes; and he's one of the few people I like with a beard. I love that picture, td.

He's way cute there, but he just seems so young, and a little too pretty for my personal tastes (although I definitely see the attraction, don't get me wrong). Now, I would love to see him with the longer hair, beard, etc., as in that photo, but with his face looking the way it does now, with a little more mileage on it. I like his more mature self, with a few more lines and a lot more wisdom behind those gorgeous eyes.

Which is probably why I'm so hot for Scruffy McCoy.
