Karl Urban -- blond or brunet?

For anyone who has TBS on their cable system, they're showing "Doom" at 10 p.m. tonight (Thursday) and 10:00 a.m. Friday. If you haven't seen it yet, it's a so-so movie (okay, probably closer to crappy), but there's lotsa Karl. :drool: He's really the best part of the movie.

Oh darn, I missed it. I’ve been wanting to see it in its entirety.

The one time I started to watch the movie, I zoned out at one point and missed half the movie! :lol:
 
I thought that you wonderful ladies would like to know that Karl has officially been cast for his next movie. It's called "Priest" and he's going to play, get this... an evil vampire leader! How cool is that?! No one plays villains the way he does and the sexiness is going to go through the roof!

Ooh, I can't wait! I know at one time Gerard Butler had been in talks to play Priest. It's probably a good thing they're not both going to be in this; my hormones would never have been able to stand that much hotness on one screen. This way, I'll be able to root for Karl's villain instead, since I don't really know who Paul Bettany is (other than that he's married to that girl from The Rocketeer).

I wonder if this vampire ever takes his shirt off...:angel:

:lol: IA that Gerald Butler and Karl in the same movie would be waaaaay too much hotness! And FYI, Paul Bettany's been in A Beautiful Mind, Masters and Commanders and more recently DaVinci Code.

And to celebrate Karl's new role as a vampire, here's a photomanip I did a couple of years ago. It's appropriately called "My Beautiful Immortal". :D

OMG! i seriously had it for Gerard Butler for quite a long time after POTO...and last night i had a DREAM about him!! This thread made me remember that!!!!! All i can remember from the dream is that i had my arm around him and i kept squeezing his lats!!! And complaining that he put on too much weight!!! OMG!!!

Back to the topic at hand.... i need to get my hands on some Karl movies (other than LOTR, have those)

Does anyone know anything about the graphic novel series that this movie is going to be based on? I hope they actually let him be evil rather than pointlessly effete like Anne Rice vampires.

I'm hoping he'll go with something even more ruthless than Caesar. I loved him when he was evil. :devil:
