Justice League official "Zack Snyder" cut on HBO Max

Wally West's dad was a bot and an asshole, and they got along "fine" after Daddy mentions that he was from space, and planned on eventually taking over the world.

Wait?

Does that mean that he got his wife drunk, and the neighbor drunk, and tricked them into mating, to sire Wally?

Synthetic Sperms?

The robot was imprinted with a real human's personality, who then killed the human and took over his life, and the family was fine with it, inviting an immortal space god robot to the West Family Thanks Giving?

I remember Wally's mom being very upset about spending decades rooting a Toaster.

Teen Clark's social studies teacher was the Martian Manhunter.

The Kent's are terrible at hiding their son.
Was Rudy a 'bot or just a human agent of the Manhunters?

I'm dealing with 30 year old memories, but I think he was a bot.

If he had just "joined a lodge" it's not a lasting life long commitment that would carry on until well after Superman beat everyone up? At some point, by the 1950s, all the classic Nazis, stopped introducing themselves as Nazis.

Original Rudy must have been such a terrible person is why no one cared.

Wiki I read claims that he was just an initiate.

But they probably surgically implanted tech in him, and mentally conditioned him, not to worry about leading humanity into a slaughter house, which is why he kept identifying himself as Manhunter to his super hero son, well after any plan he might have played a tiny part in, was over.

Silverage Clark had a robot Lois Lane.

Was she in it for the pay check, or is Kal El of Krypton going to get me-too-ed down the line?

Was it too close to home to me-too Luthor in the comics because of Kevin Spacey, or are DC wussies for not running this ball all the way to the endzone?

Rudy was a greedy self serving SOB. Robo-Lois was a decoy.

Or Cockrum. Grell's Cosmic Boy was a classic good for the gander take.
I wasn't suggesting Grell was only offering a look at "skin" for female characters--just nodding at his propensity for having characters "show skin" across the board. Cosmic Boy was "good for the gander". Tyroc was another.

Snyder's personal viewpoint on the current status and trajectory of the the DCEU versus his version of JL isn't really important, because Aquaman as released was meant to be a direct follow-up to his (Snyder's) vision for JL and so the 'Snyder Cut' already has a lasting and current standing as it applies to the DCEU.

Yes, its similar to those who want to separate certain DCEU films based on proximity to Snyder, most are all one series, including Wonder Woman (her Dawn of Justice subplot, including the old photo spelled it out).

His second costume for the Warlord was a loincloth, a helmet and shoulder piece.

That Cosmic Boy suit was before my time.

Wow.

The black bits were Iron filings controlled by his magnetism?

I was thinking/remembering...

Post Crisis There Never was a Superboy.

The Legion when it went back to the 20th, was diverted into a pocket Universe created by the Time Trapper containing a fake Earth with a fake Superboy.

1. How can post infinite Crisis Superman suddenly remember a child hood that happened to a different person? Is it possible that Saturn Girl gave middle aged Clark a fake extra childhood, so that he would be receptive to their agenda? Or is it possible that in John Byrnes Man of Steel (post Crisis Origin) that Saturn Girl riddled his brain with deletions and exclusions.

2. In Zero hour we find out that the nefarious Time Trapper was a future identity of Cosmic Boy. Old Cosmic Boy invented an imaginary friend for his younger lonely self to play with. How sad.

3. If Joe West is a Manhunter (an actual robot) in the Arrowverse does that mean that he has been faking his frailties to seem more human? Did they think about calling him "Rudy" and just not?

I'm not talking about a reference.

As per James Wan and Jason Momoa, the script and story of the Aquaman film were crafted based entirely on how Snyder was planning on telling the story of the Justice League on film.
That might have been the intention when they were worked on them, but by the time it came out we got the Whedon version, and there is nothing in the final movie that is specific to Snyder version.

No changes were made to Aquaman's story at any point in response to the changes made for Justice League.

As a response to JD's post, this is a non sequitur.

It really isn't.

Even though changes were made to Justice League that took it away from Zack Snyder, Aquaman's script and story - which were developed based on what Snyder wanted to do with Justice League - were not similarly changed.

But that doesn't change the fact that the one reference in the final Aquaman movie to Steppenwolf is vague enough that it applies to both versions. So it doesn't really matter what the original intention was since it works no matter what.

Man, why bother--some have a bug up their asses so deep over Snyder that they will argue against production fact. The bottom line is that Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, are all connected--the same universe. No amount of psychological contortions fueled by Snyder-hate will ever change that.
