Justice League official "Zack Snyder" cut on HBO Max

No such thing as in name only. Comics are varied story telling formats.

Safe, predictable, entirely disposable. They are just fine but ultimately unsatisfying over and over again.

Give me the variety. Give me the risk. Otherwise Tim Burton's Batman should be thrown out as "in name only" bull :censored: because it isn't faithful to the comics and Adam West is the more faithful adaptation.

100000% QFT.

Agreed, and that's the problem with formulaic filmmaking.

If you are a fan of the MCU, then congratulations. You are part of the fandom of the largest, most successful entertainment franchise in the world right now. And it’s showing no signs of ending or even changing any time soon. So you are just going to keep getting what you enjoy for many years to come.
If that’s not enough for you and instead you need to belittle other people who aren’t fans of it to feel any kind of validation as a person, then that’s just sad and you should take a long look at your life to figure out what you’re missing.

This.

This is a bit of a tangent, but you know that the Superhero film genre is kind of in a messed-up place when the most anticipated film from said genre is the unnecessary sequel to The Matrix Trilogy (I say 'unnecessary' because the Trilogy tells an amazing self-contained story).

Yes, Jr. was the nephew. And as far as I know, we never learned anything about either parents. Aside from his father probably being James' brother, either that or his parents went into marriage with the same surname.

DC is going to do a Snyder Cut variant cover for March's issue of the Justice League comic, and Zack Snyder tweeted out Jim Lee's artwork for it. What makes this especially noteworthy is that Martian Manhunter is very prominently featured on the cover, and this might be our first glance at what J'onn might look like in the movie.

Erm, excuse me are you forgetting this?

I never heard of that before. The theme song is hilarious, I love those cartoon themes.
I honestly don't remember it's been so, so long. I guess I'm off to Google...

ETA-- You are correct. Apparently the character first appeared in a spin-off novel all the way back in 1967.

It actually said in the theme song that he learned everything from his uncle James. Although personally, I don't know if I'd want my kid learning "everything" from James Bond.

(I say 'unnecessary' because the Trilogy tells an amazing self-contained story).

I don't necessarily know about that.

I mean, it tells a story, that much is true.

But amazing ... I don't know. In the sense of "something so awful that it must be beheld in order to be believed," as in "holy shit, you will not believe the raw sewage backing up in my kitchen sink and the associated stench," maybe...

I loved that theme song. 90's cartoons had the best songs.

The new adventures of speed racer along James Bond Jr was a great back to back hour
