Its more aimed at the kind of people who will whine about Kirk being unable to drive on that gangster planet but can drive in this film.
Actually, he can't drive in this film. He went full bore through a gate and had to bail out of the car.

But in TOS he couldn't even turn it on, and didn't even know what a car was.
Maybe because someone drove it off a cliff?Actually, he can't drive in this film. He went full bore through a gate and had to bail out of the car.

Maybe George Kirk did not have a car?
Did Chicago Mobs of the Twenties have technical specs in it?

I wish Dr. Mc Coy would violate my canon.![]()
I've been managing to resist saying that...
Because if 99% are mocking and making fun of people who say that, I guess your trying to run them out of this Forum, as they must feel harassed, by seeing all these Avatars.

AHHHH, excellent point! The car did belong to his step-dad.Oh well, something for the fan wanky slobbering fanboys to get in knots over.
My point is that the rabid fanboys are upset that in this movie, Kirk drives a car as a kid, but in a TOS episode, he can't figure it out.Maybe George Kirk did not have a car?

Not really. New Timeline where Step-dad had car. Kirk probably road in it from time to time, saw how step-dad started car. Saw how S-D drove car. where in the original they were star hopping from place to place, colony to colony to keep up with dads assignments and never learned to drive a car.
Quantum Reality theory, same person, different life events, different skill sets emerge. YaY for watching SLIDERS.
The ultimate avatar would be Robau wearing a sombrero while violating a canon.

It was really just a joke, started by one avatar image of a surprised-looking cat with the words "Canon Violation!!" on it. You've probably seen these. The original gag was that everyone would wear the same av and the repeating image would look odd to anyone reading a thread. Needless to say, people began to get a little more creative with it, leading to the result you now see. There was no malice intended and I'd hope that no one wearing one now has such intent.Ever since the movie came out the amount of Avatars with "Canon Violation"
has increased exponentially, are you guys mocking the people who scream "Canon Violation". Or are you serious about it. Just curious.

I think many of them are awesome and very funny, so I like them.
I don't have any issue at all with them, I just want to hear from people that are using those types of Avatars and why. Why and when did you switch it to that?
