Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor

I have yet to see her act in anything but many people who have who I trust are very excited, therefore, my reaction is: fantastic!

Is nothing sacred in this politically correct nightmare of a country that we live in? The next series of Doctor Who will crash even more then their reinvention of Top Gear. Why are the BBC intent on ruining their own franchises recently with terrible casting decisions. She was rubbish in Broadchurch. Ah well at least I have Star Trek Discovery to look forward to which looks amazing and will fill the void. I think that my time with Doctor Who is done for a while.
O NOES A WOMAN!

Seriously, dude? Grow up. If you don't like her acting that's one thing and a valid criticism. But what is "sacred"? The Doctor's manhood? I think she'd be the first to laugh in your face at that.

I can't judge her acting because I've never seen her in anything, but she doesn't look weird and quirky enough. I mean, look at Tom Baker. No Human can possibly look like that. Still, if she's as good an actress as people say, hopefully it'll work out.

Hey I liked the new Top Gear. Once Evans left it became pretty good.

lol

I would have been surprised if a man had been revealed, after the foreshadowing of the General on Gallifrey and of course Missy.

And am I the only one surprised by the low key one minute intro video? I can't remember how Matt Smith was revealed, but remember how Capaldi was introduced, live on air?

I wonder when next season will premier? Roll one D20, evens Spring 2018, odds Autumn 2018!

Give us a flavour of things over there...

I won't be able to unsee my former boss now.

(Seriously it's scary how much Jodie looks like my boss)

Totally not watching. Not even gonna pretend to be optimistic. Worst idea ever. Not a fan. It's all about SJW quotas these days. Oh well. Would have liked to see what could have been done. Looks like the death of Docotor Who. But that's just my prediction. If ratings are low, I expect lots of "sexism" to be the excuse. Sigh...soooooo tired of the SJW crap.
I'm with you, bub. Where do they get off making an nigh immortal appearance regenerating space-breathing telepath with two hearts something as outlandish as one of those nasty womenfolk? And one out of thirteen has to be a woman? What kind of unfair quota system is that? It should be at least one out of thirty or forty to keep it fair for the men, if I'm being generous. If women were intended to be on TV more they'd make up over half the population, I say. And damn right "sexism" should be in scare quotes like it doesn't exist in the very post where you're being incredibly sexist. Keep fighting the good fight, guy who's totally not a snowflake.

A disaster that all involved in hated.

She would actually have been seen by more people than watched any episode of the Series that just finished.

Ah, good attempt at a save, pretending you give a fuck about the caliber of the actress.
